The papers presented at the DPS 2005 can be submitted to a special issue of Thin Solid Films,
published by Elsevier. The manuscript should be original, not
previously published and directly related to the subject included in the two
page abstract. Each manuscript is linked
to a corresponding author

All submitted manuscripts will be evaluated following the usual procedure
of regular papers published in Thin Solid Films, except for the editorial
process that is shortened. The authors are strongly requested to keep the
deadline when revising the manuscript according to refereefs comments.

reject the paper. In addition, if in the second stage of evaluation the
referees decide that major revision is yet necessary the paper will be
rejected. In average, the rejection rate can be as high as 50%. The student
registration fee does not include a copy of the special issue of TSF. However,
all students submitting manuscripts as corresponding authors will receive
a copy of the TSF issue if their manuscript will be accepted for publication.
